The tuition cost for Alliant International University is $17,130 for the 2022-23 academic year. On the other hand, the tuition for Grand Valley State University is $14,628 for in-state students and $20,820 for out-of-state students for the 2023-24 academic year. Therefore, the in-state tuition at Grand Valley State University is lower than that of Alliant International University. Students can apply for financial aid by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Grand Valley State University is one of the premier institutions of higher education in Michigan state. The university offers highly-ranked courses. The university is very popula among international students. Grand Valley State University acceptance rate is 91%. This is an average acceptance rate and subject to change. However, based on such a high acceptance rate, it can be said that it is relatively easier to get into GVSU. However, for some of its popular courses, the university is more selective than normal. Therefore, international students should check the minimum eligiblity before applying.

As per students who went to Grand Valley State University who went to film school. The film school actually let you touch cameras VS most programs who make you study theory and serve graduation students your first 4 years. Also, the student radio station was easy to get involved in and I really loved being a part of that. In the 90s, GVSU had a 2 to 1 girl to boy population ratio. Little did I know that Grand Rapids was pretty conservative at the time, so the ratio didn't really do me much good. Grand Valley State University graduates are in high demand and readily recruited by top companies. As compared to the year 2020, the destination rate of 2021 was less but still decent. Speaking of the destination rate, 84% of those who responded claimed that they either had full-time or part-time employment, were studying further, had joined volunteering or military service, or were not looking out for jobs.

All international students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. GVSU accepts all the major English language test scores as proficiency of English.
