The minimum package of a graphic designer in India is about INR 3 LPA to INR 7 LPA. It totally depends on the college you are graduating from.

Hello, If you are good, skilled, there is no blocker for you in animation industry, plenty of scope there in various divisions like animated graphics, games, advrtisement, and IT companies. Great if you know the softwares already. Both of these software are necessary in each and every field of designing. But, if you are specifically looking for softwares oriented courses, then you should go for graphic designing or animation film designing or film and video communication offered from NID. And fashion communication by NIFT.

No, it is not necessary to take computers as a subject. Graphic designing is a separate undergraduate course where you need creativity and visual fashion sense. So take up fine arts as an optional subject so that you brush up this side as well.

Depending on the nature and duration of the course one may decide whether it is equivalent to engineering or not. Engineering is a 4 year degree course.
