It will depend on what your skill is. If you are creative and have inclination for drawing or designing, in that case graphic design would be a good option. On the other hand, if you are more interested in designing and also have an inclination for programming/ coding then you can opt for web designing. If you are interested in a career in animation and graphic designing, then I would suggest you to join a degree program with certification from software companies, who are leaders in the field of designing software like Autodesk, Foundry and Vray (Chaos Group). A good degree program will teach you the entire process of creativity from basic designing and sketching to mastering the software skills.

For graphic designing, you must have creativity and good grasp in sketching and drawing. If you want to make career in graphic designing, then you can join any good institute. You should not go with any short courses in any institute. You can go for Bachelors in fine arts.
