Hi,
Yes, you can pursue it, but in weekend mode. There are very few institutes offering Diploma or degree in graphic designing with good course module.
You can consider:
1. Arena Animation.
2. Maya Academy.
3. MAAC, etc.

Yes, you can look for areas in computer science that might be relevant to your computer animation goals. Areas like graphics, games, etc. involve lot of animation and software engineering skills.

Yes, it is a good decision provided that you don't restrict yourself in graphics or animation. Rather, join a course which covers graphics, animation and VFX, you will have a much wider scope.

There is no entrance test to get admission in most of the animation institutes in India, you can directly visit the institute, speak to the team and present students, check the course and see if it satisfy your requirement. If it does, then you must join. They will guide you with the admission process and fee structure with EMI option if available.

Bachelors degree courses are definitely better than the diploma courses as you have more in depth knowledge, more experience and better placements.
