Design, encapsulates everything. Design has become platform independent, whether traditional platforms or digital platforms. You should be a good designer first. Parameters for different platforms are different and you need to be well versed with them. Today, I could use/convert/transform my designs for web or magazine or posters or animations. You can do graphic designing after you complete your class 12. I think it is better if you choose either film or graphic designing as your career.

First, figure out your interest and priority. Filmmaking is a career wherein the success comes much later in life. A lot of hard work and patience is required to have a career in filmmaking. There is no financial security or guarantee in this field. Graphic design, on the other hand, gives you a constant career with the constant financial flow.
