Yes, if you are planning to take the GRE and IELTS exams in December, starting your preparation now is a good idea. It gives you enough time to prepare thoroughly, practice, and identify areas where you need improvement. You have about 7-8 months to prepare, which should be sufficient if you are consistent and disciplined in your approach. With this amount of time, you can divide your preparation period into several phases, such as building foundational skills, content review, practice, and test-day preparation. You can use study materials such as GRE and IELTS prep books, online courses, and practice tests to help you prepare. In addi

It's a good idea to start your GRE and IELTS preparation at least 3-6 months before your planned test date. This will give you enough time to study and practice, identify areas of weakness, and make improvements. Here is a sample timetable for GRE and IELTS preparation:
Weeks 1-2: Diagnostic Test and Goal Setting
Take a diagnostic test for GRE and IELTS to identify your strengths and weaknesses
Set a target score for both exams
Create a study plan and schedule to cover all sections of the test
Weeks 3-8: Content Review and Practice
Focus on building your foundational skills in math, English and analytical thinking
Review GRE and IELTS content

You can start by taking a diagnostic practice test to assess your strengths and weaknesses and create a study plan accordingly. For IELTS it's recommended to start

Most of these, apart from distinctions as noted, apply to standardized tests in general:
Start by creating a realistic schedule of daily work. Because the daily part is important, realistic probably translates to 15-20 minutes a day. I am going to spend two hours a night is well-intentioned, but unlikely to happen. Use only the official materials. There is only 1 published book for the GRE. Material

There is not any particular score but students with 300 have got calls, it varies a lot. You can also get a call from IIM Bangalore, and they and Indore have separate exams too.
