It depends upon them that how they calculate it. So it'd be better if you ask the college directly. In general, backlogs are counted subject wise. But the plus point is your 3+ year of work experience. You still have the good chance to ensure your selection in your desired college.

Hi Akanshya, you will get options but not the highly ranked ones which prefer students with extremely good academics. However plenty of options will be available. Focus on your GRE, anything below 300 will hamper your chances. Additionally you should work on building a very good personal statement. The recommendation letters must be compelling too. Demonstrate your strengths, extracurricular activities, project work etc. and any other distinct point that you think the universities should know about you.

GRE scores are valid for 5 years, so you can take it anytime during this period. A good time to take GER for September 2018 intake would be a little before September 2017. Maybe in the months between April and August 2017. The application process generally takes around a year.

Hi Bharath, GRE is not mandatory to study in Germany but you must take the IELTS. Some universities may also ask for German language proficiency. Please check university websites for university specific admission requirements, every university has different requirements. You must additionally have very good academic grades for German universities to accept you.

Hi Suman Kumar,
Suggesting colleges based only GRE score is not so easy and not correct. Your GRE score is very good but you must also check your academic percentile, what the universities prefer, what you want to study, program specific requirements etc. If you are an academically strong student you can check good universities like University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, Texas A&M, USC Marshall, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo etc. There will be more options depending on your profile. You have to check university websites for the requirements and apply.

Hello Shwetha,
There are two schools of thoughts in this issue. One says don't waste time and concentrate on your studies of BE. Second school says, you can finish such exams in 2ndor3rd year itself. I would advise you to take course as per your capabilities. If you are confident of not affecting your studies for BE, the go ahead.
