During the 2024–2025 application period, providing the GRE is optional, and skipping it won't negatively impact a student’s application. However, students must take the test and submit it if get a valid score. Along with the GRE, students must focus on providing their best academic performance, English language scores, and GPA. Students with prior relevant experience and who take part in extracurricular activities get precedence over the other students.

No, the GRE exam cost is not the same across the world. It varies in different countries. In India, the GRE fee is INR 22,500 for the General Test, but in China, the fee is USD 231. So, the registration fee for the Graduate Record Examination depends on the country.

The GRE Test Fee for Indian students depends on the type of test being taken:Fee for GRE General Test is INR 22,550.Fee for GRE Subject Test is INR 14,500.Other than this, there will be some additional charges, if the applicants want to change the centre or reschedule the test.

Submitting the GRE score is an important part of the University of Delaware application for graduate admission. GRE test scores are valid for five years. Apart from the GRE score, an international applicant has to submit academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, graduate application essay, English language proficiency score, resume, etc.

GRE is required for postgraduate programs such as Ph.D. The minimum score required at SMU in GRE is 160 on the scale of 600 and 3.5 on the GRE analytic test with a minimum GPA of 3.5. There is no set expectation for the Ph.D programs, although the university demands a quantitative test. If look at the previous year's data, most applicants have scored an average verbal GPRE of 164 on the scale of 670, an analytic score of 4.5 with an undergraduate GPA of 3.7.

The students must submit the official GRE (Graduate Record Examination) scores. Additionally, the test must have been taken no more than five years ago. Also, students are required to submit the scores electronically using the test code 2666. Moreover, students are advised to score 50% more in each of the three categories. However, the GRE requirement may be waived upon request from students.

The Pittsburgh University provides test options for standardized scores. However, international students who believe that their GRE scores are good and can positively impact their resumes must mention it. There is no minimum score given on the official website, students must aim to score above 153 in Verbal, 152 in Quantitative, and 4.0 in Analytical Writing. Along with GRE scores, postgraduate students must submit a letter of recommendation,  SOP, resume, English language requirements, and more.
