You don't need to appear for GRE unless you are planning for MS in the US. What matters the most is GMAT. However, as far I know there is no exemption as such in US universities for GMAT which Means you must need to score good marks in GMAT (it actually differs for every university). Additionally, you also need to have a good band score in IELTS or TOEFL (if the medium of instruction in your last attended university is not English).

GRE is not a big selection criterion for MS programs. The selection of a candidate for MS programme is a 2 stage process:
Screening process by the admin department: This screening process goes something like, there is a list of cut-off score or threshold values for certain selection criterion. For example, all students with GRE above 310 will be cleared, or all students with CGPA above 8.0/10.0 will be selected, etc. This limit is not very strict and is flexible. To get the admission in MS in Pharmacy, GRE test is necessary. But, there are some private Universities may exempt this. Before applying please read and go through it very carefully this may help you to avoid time and application form fee.

GMAT score is required for seeking admission overseas into MBA & GRE score is required in seeking admission overseas in technical courses. For MBA in India you need CAT/MAT score. There are a no of colleges overseas that may not insist on GMAT scores, but it is advisable to join an institute which has the requirement for GMAT from quality education & exposure perspective.

To go to abroad, most countries accept LETS score. You should go for offline learning as physical interaction is must. Apply for them 3 months before your admissions get started.
