Hi, perhaps you should first decide what to study, which stream should you choose depends entirely on your interest and career goals. Know what is best for you. As for GRE prep, it takes around 3-4 months. You can first take a mock test and see where you stand, accordingly make the study plan and stick to it. There will be certain sections which will need more preparation than the others. Keep taking regular mock test to check your progress and scores.

Hello Sugam,
There are different ways of knowing that you had a backlog in engineering and that you have taken 6 years to clear engineering. It can be found out from the dates you have cleared your 10th 12th and Engineering. In addition, it is never a good idea to suppress something if it is asked. Hello Anuplab, USA most of the universities require GRE and TOEFL scores. There are few universities who don't require GRE scores, but they are not ranked as such. Whereas in UK, you will have to only go for IELTS exam. GRE is not required for MS. Also USA gives you OPT but UK do not have post study work visa.

Dear Phani,
You seems confused between GRE/GMAT. Before opting to the college, first choose your area of study (after B.Com of course you will not go for engineering so GRE options is close for you as this is for Science and technology), now left is GMAT before choosing exam choose the country and college. And as per their criteria, go ahead. GMAT is just an entrance exam. Actual story starts afterwards. Hope this helps.

Hi Navneet,
For Masters in USA, TOEFL /IELTS is mandatory along with GRE for a majority of the universities for international applicants (those who have or will request a visa) and applicants (including US citizens and US Permanent Residents) whose first language is not English and/or who have not completed a Bachelor degree in the United States.
