CGPA can be termed as the collective SGPAs calculated at the end of an academic year. In order to calculate your CGPA, you need to first find the average score of all subjects in each of the semesters, i.e. SGPA. Then, add all the SGPAs of all the semesters and divide the total by the number of semesters or sessions to find your CGPA for the academic year.CGPA= (SGPAs of All semesters in an academic year)/Number of semestersIf a student scored 8 and 7 SGPA in their two semesters, their CGPA would be: CGPA of 1 college academic term = (SGPA of semester 1+ SGPA of semester 2)/ 2= (8+7)/2= 15/ 2 = 7.5 CGPA

If student has valid reason for not giving the exam so the college may give absentee marking. The student's grade for the missed exam will be calculated based on other evaluations or assessments, such as assignments, projects, or subsequent exams. If a student misses an internal exam without a valid reason or fails to follow the institution's given procedures for absence, they may give penalties. Internal exams often contribute to the overall assessment of a course, and if a student consistently misses assessments, it may affect their final grade or even their eligibility to progress to the next academic term.

In GNIOT each courses have seperate dress code. Basically, you have to wear formals and casual depending on ocassion. And also it has changed two times first, it was Sky blue torso with blue pants, now Blue long stripped (up-down) torso with black pants and blazer is black. Here both boys and girls should dress in casuals and it is strictly adhered to wear. And All the engineering and management students should have to wear formals.

There is basically two ways of taking admission in GNIOT. One is the Entrance exam of UPSEE through counselling and other is direct admission through visiting the campus. College will provide such forms on website where you can register for the admission and then you should have to visit campus for the further admission process while talking all your documents.
