The answer is no. To work as an Air Hostess or Flight Steward, the minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 passed in any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts) with English subject. Eligibility: 10+2 passed is the minimum educational qualification required. Airlines usually prefer Graduates or Diploma holders.

Airport Ground Staff Eligibility. To become Airport Ground Staff the minimum qualification required is +2 any stream followed by Diploma or PG Diploma course in the related field. To become an Airport Ground Staff the aspiring candidate must be between the age group of 18 years to 27 years.

Hi, Doing a three or six months course in-ground services in aviation after doing your graduation in engineering is not something that I will fully endorse. Of course, the aviation industry in India is growing by about 10% per year. This surely translates into good job opportunities.However, I would like to recommend to you to go in for an MBA in aviation-related subjects. Of course, if you feel it tough to crack entrance exams and subsequent studies for MBA then you can definitely think of this course, get a job and then think of something different.

Hello Mounika, A very interesting query indeed. World is moving forward so also ideas of fashion. In so far as these do not hamper flight safety, its accepted. Like e. g. danglers on ears are invariably not allowed but studs are. So is the case with tattoos. They are allowed on some body parts and not on some.As a rule of thumb, these on visible parts is no. But then every airlines has its own set of rules. Unfortunately I could not find any DGCA rule about this.
