Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for MCom. The course mark sheets and passing certificate also have to be presented at the time of admission and application process. This PG course is offered in Grant-in-aid and self-financed mode. Candidates are shortlisted for the programme based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. Hence, the fulfilment of eligibility conditions does not confirm that the student will be admitted.

The total tuition fee for MSc ranges between INR 3,780 – INR 5 lakh. This fee is calculated as per the data available on unofficial sources, hence, is subject to changes. Furthermore, as per the past years’ official data, the total semester fee for males ranges from INR 14,760 - INR 1.80 Lacs and INR 8,760 - INR 1.80 Lacs for females.

The university offers MSc in 42 specialisations, including Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied Geology, Life Science etc. The seat intake and course fee for each of the MSc specialisations vary. Additionally, aspirants are also required to meet the eligibility criteria set for the chosen MSc specialisation. However, admission to all the MSc courses is merit-based. Any graduate with 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) and three-year executive-level experience is eligible to apply. The applicants must also have important documents such as Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and pass certificates, graduation mark sheets, CMAT scorecards, etc. to submit the application. The university accepts applications from only the students who meet the eligibility conditions.

Candidates with a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass certificate with 50% aggregate are eligible for GU BA course admission. A. Candidates with a Class 12 or equivalent exam pass certificate with 50% aggregate are eligible for GU BA course admission. In addition, the passing certificate must be issued by a recognised board or authority. The aspirants shall have an original and copy of the Class 12 pass certificate along with other important documents or else the application is treated as incomplete.
