No, you will not require giving the exam of CMAT for the course of mass communication and journalism from Gujarat University. The CMAT is basically an entrance examination that can be cleared by students who want to undergo an MBA course from one of the B schools. For courses in mass communication and journalism, the entrance examination is mostly conducted by Gujarat University or through some other process.

Yes, it is worth pursuing MBA from Gujarat University as it was recognised by the UGC and AIU. It has been accredited with NAAC Grade B. Gujarat University Ahmedabad has been ranked 76 out of the top 100 universities in India by NIRF in 2024. The university has decent placements rates and prominet faculty to give the proper guidance to the students.

No, it is not hard to get admission at Gujarat University. The university offer undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), diploma, certificate and PhD courses to students in streams such as Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law and Medicine & Health Sciences. Admission is based on merit and entrance exams. The university accepts national entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, and others.
