The cutoff trend for BTech at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been a decreasing one in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 90,378. In 2022, it decreased to 85 744. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 90,378 to 81,426 for OBC, 19,0098 to 2,24,720 for SC, 6,62,196 to 3,90,021 for ST, 10,2,979 to 1,01,883 for EWS categories.This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. The cutoff trend for BTech + MTech in IT at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been increasing in recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech in the general category for all India quota was 27983. In 2023, it increased to 12. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 126986 to 59555 for SC, 279159 to 220200 for ST, 34415 to 26188 for EWS, 743502 to 479034 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. A similar cut-off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The 2024 cutoff ranks for BTech +M.Techin Information Technology at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University other than the General category are - 198167 for SC, 346824 for ST and 45444 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. For 2023, the cut-off is 83151 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech +MTech in Information Technology at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. For female candidates in the general category under All India quota 0 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoff trend for BTech + MTech in CSE at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has seen a deccreasing trend in recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under the general category for all India quota was 15339. In 2023, it decreased to 9. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 80153 to 55943 for SC, and 150924 to 174159 for ST. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. A similar cut-off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech +M.Techin Computer Science Engineering was 15339 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
