In B.Tech you have to cross the cut-off requirements from HEE Mains remains, in other courses like M.Tech GATE exam marks are required. Although there are lateral entries in some courses like B.Sc (IT), BCA, and B.Sc Agriculture through LEET and in MBA and M.Com entrance exam marks are required to fulfill the criteria. There is a management quota in which fee structure is slightly high, but the fee pattern is feasible for students taking admission via entrance exams.  

College life is very good. No ragging and fights. There is a central library that has many books, journals, research papers, etc. and these are easily accessible.
