Yes, the university has three boys and four girls hostels located in Amritsar. The male and female students whose residence is located within 40 kilometers and 25 kilometers, respectively from the university campus will not be provided accommodation in the hostel. Apart from this, the university also offers other facilities to its students such as library, centre for IT solutions, centre for sustainable habitat, and more.

It is a public university located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. It was established in 1969 by the Government of India. GNDU is recognised by the UGC. The university is also accredited by NAAC with A+ grade and is conferred the status of University with Potential for Excellence by the UGC. For BTech admission at Guru Nanak Dev University, it is mandatory to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam. In addition to this, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate. The total course fee for the BTech course at GNDU ranges between INR 4.7 lakh and INR 10.3 lakh. However, for some of the other undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Guru Nanak Dev University admits students on the basis of merit.

Here is the comparison of fees for B.Tech CSE among BITS Pilani, Thapar Patiala and GNDU Amritsar:
BITS Pilani CSE (Computer Science Engineering) fees are Rs 19.19 Lacs for four years. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology fees for B.Tech CSE is Rs 16.56 Lacs for four years.
