To be eligible for the B.E. / B.Tech programme at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), candidates must meet certain academic qualifications. Aspiring students should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They need at least 45% marks in these subjects, or 40% marks for reserved category candidates. Selection parameters for B.E./B.Tech courses at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology include entrance scores. The eligibility criteria for BTech at GNIT IPU are different for regular and lateral entry programs. For the regular B.Tech program, candidates must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and they must have passed each subject separately. Admission is based on the merit/rank in the JEE Main exam.
