Guwahati University - GU Eligibility

If you meet additional conditions, such finishing your undergraduate or graduate degree with at least 50% of the possible points (which is comparable to the CGPA standards) from an accredited university, you can apply for Gauhati University's B.Ed programme based on your 4.5 CGPA in MA English. The Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test or GUBEDCET, is the basis for admission to the B.Ed program. It evaluates subjects relating to education, general English, general knowledge numerical ability and reasoning.To be considered for final selection you must register for the GUBEDCET meet the merit-based cutoff, and take part in the counseling process.

To be eligible for BTech at Guwahati University, candidates must have the following:They must be a citizen of IndiaThe age of the candidates must be between 17-21 years. There is a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit available for SC/ST candidates.Must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate with PCM and English as subjects (45% for SC and 40% for ST)In addition to the regular four-year BTech, the university also offers direct admission to the second year of BTech via lateral entry. For this option, students must meet the below eligibility criteria:3-year Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent/ BSc in relevant branchThose with a BSc degree must have Mathematics at Class 12 level

The MBA Programme, administered by the Department of Business Administration Guwahati University is a professional interdisciplinary course of study in Management.
Eligibility:
A Bachelor's degree of 10+2+3 pattern with 50% marks in aggregate or in Honors/Major subject (if any) from Guwahati University or any other recognized University. Those who have appeared in the final semester of the Bachelor's Degree or any equivalent examination may also apply, provided they will be able to meet the eligibility condition prior to 31st August 2018.
Selection Procedure:
Eligible applicant will have to appear in a written test, meant to evaluate their quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, general awareness and proficiency in English, to be conducted by Guwahati University.
The final selection will be based on the applicants overall performance in the written test, group discussion and personal interview.
