Yes, The Institute of Hotel Management, Shimla is good for BSc. The Institute offers only one BSc course, which Is the BSc, in Hospitality and Hotel administration. This course has good ratings. This course is offered for a period of 3 years. There is no information about the tuition fee for this course. A total number of 380 seats have been allotted by the Institute for the BSc course. The selection of students for the admissions are based on the merit on the NCHMCT JEE exams. The student must clear the cutoff to be eligible for the course. Yes, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Shimla is infact better than AIHM Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Shimla. The IHM is run by the government, and government recognised certifications are more valued in India. The education and curriculum are similar for both the IHM and AIHM. But the fee structure for the IHM is less compared to that of AIHM. There is a drastic difference between the two. This is because government institutions offer courses at lower fees and private institutions at higher amounts. The placements for IHM are also good. It has a 100% placement rate in 2023. Yes, UG Diploma at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Shimla is better than AIHM Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Shimla. This is because the IHM is run by the government of India, whereas the AIHM is a private Institution. The government issued certificates have more value in India than that of the private institutions. The government institutions also have lower fees compared to the private institutions. The average salary package offered to the students of BSc, MSc, and UG Diploma courses was 15 thousand to 20 thousand per month. The highest package offered 35,000 and the lowest package offered is 8,000 to 9,000. In the year 2023 placements, there was 100% placement. No, you cannot get admission in Institute of Hotel Management Guwahati on the basis of CAT exam. Because Institute doesn't accept CAT score for admission. Institute conduct its own entrance exam (IHM-CAT) for admission in MBA programs. And in IHM-CAT exam you get percentile in range of 80-85 percentile. Because last year cut off was 82 percentile and on the basis of last year cut off you can see it hard to get admission at 65 percentile. You need to get minimum 80 percentile to confirm your admission. You can check admission details on shiksha's official site (Shiksha.com) where you will find all info. about college.
