Heritage and Haldia are not very much known for lucrative packages, so if you are considering mechanical branch and looking forward for heritage and Haldia then you might be on wrong path, however if you want to be placed in top notch companies with high packages then look forward for IIT's/NIT's and BITS, Pilani.

The obvious answer is techno India salt lake.you can see from the rank list of wbjee for both the colleges and specially for cse ,better rankers choose techno India which is enough proof of its lead over haldia.

If you have to choose between Haldia Institute of Technology and Netaji Subhash Engineering College then I will suggest you to join HIT because it is a popular college with a good reputation.

It will be better, if you join G L Bajaj. ME department is the most creative department here. We have lot of tech fests, we have fully furnished labs, and there is design innovation center also with 60 computers installed. There was placement in companies like VIVO in production department.

MBA- Haldia Institute of Technology or Brainware group both are very average college. You can opt for BIBS Kolkata.
