Hans Raj College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BSc (Hons) and BCom, BCom (Hons), admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET-PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. The application process 2025 for Hans Raj College runs simultaneously with DU registrations for UG courses via CUET 2025 (for UG programmes) Additionally, for admission to postgraduate courses, CUET-PG registrations for the 2025 session usually start in Mar and goes till May . Interested students were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG and CUET PG. The Common Seat Allocation Process (CSAP) for UG admissions usually begin in July.

The tuition fee for the certificate courses is INR 14,800. The eligibility criteria to apply for the certificate courses is Class 12 with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate.
