Besides, candidates must pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science with at least 60% aggregate to apply for HBTU Kanpur BTech admission.

Yes, HBTU admit candidates to its BBA course without CUET. This option opens up only if the seats are left vacant after seat allotment to applicants with a CUET score. The Non-CUET students have to further take an entrance examination conducted by the university. Additionally, it is however necessary that the aspirant fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements.

HBTU Kanpur admissions is entrance-based. Candidates need to clear the entrance exam to get a seat in the desired course. The accepted national-level entrance exams are JEE Main, NIMCET, IIT JAM, GATE, CAT, UGC NET/ CSIR NET. HBTU Kanpur carries out MBA admission procedure in three phases. In the first phase, applicants with a valid CAT or CUET-PG scores are shortlisted and called for group discussion and personal interview (GD & PI) round. In the second phase, candidates with a score of CMAT/AIMA-MAT/CUET-PG are called for GD & PI. If the seats are left vacant after the two phases, then the university conducts an entrance examination to fill out the vacant seats. The university admit candidates to its BBA programme based on merit in CUET-UG exam. After conclusion of application process, university releases a list of CUET shortlisted candidates. A final list is released after the fee deposition. Further, if seats are left vacant, then a list of candidates eligible for university entrance exam is released.
