HBTI-Kanpur is no longer a part of UPTU since 2017. HBTI Kanpur does not take admission pn the basis of UPSEE scores. HBTI, Kanpur becomes an university now, it takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank .

As per your category, if your rank is less than 1,00,000 (general rank), then you will get some branches in DTU and NSIT. However, HBIT is taking admission via JEE Mains from this year, so we cannot predict the exact cutoff.

It's quite tough to compare to notch colleges. But let me try. Placements in DTU are far better than HBTU. HBTU lacks in proper infrastructure. DTU situated in Delhi has its own way of advantage. DTU has a good reputation. So, I could conclude by telling DTU would be better. This is my view of thinking.
Hope this could help you.

If you are getting IET or KNIT, then don't go for Jabalpur, if you can't get any of them, then you can think for Jabalpur Engineering College.

There are many good government and private colleges under UPTU ie.
1. IET Lucknow (government)
2. BIET Jhansi (Government)
3. KNIT Sultanpur (Government)
4. JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida (private). It's hard to write all. Please go through this link:
