Hello Shourya,
As the college has now been converted into a fully residential university named Harcourt Butler Technical University, its selection procedure will surely change from the year to come. As the sources say, it shall be taking admissions in its B.Tech programme through the JEE Mains.
Admission in HBTU from 2017 onwards will take place through:
1) JEE Mains for MCA and B.Tech courses.
2) GATE for admission in M.Tech program.
3) Admission in Ph.D programmes under quality improvement programmes is done by Principal QIP coordinator nominated by Government of India every year.
All the best!

Placements are good in our college. The legacy of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is enough to get good placements for all students. Placements are done in well-known MNCs and Indian companies. Some of the best pharmaceutical companies hire from ICT, so don't be too shocked when you hear names like Bayer, Pfizer, etc. coming in. The faculty of the college are highly knowledgeable. They are all scientists. Some have worked almost for 30 years in CSIR labs. They belong to India's greatest laboratory. It is a previous pattern in UPSEE that you may see in the previous year question papers but this year, pattern is 50 questions each from PCM that is total 150 questions and each correct answer carries 4 marks and there will be no negative marking.
You have to score less than 30k rank to get admission in this college.
All the best.

Hello Aditya,
Until the last year, AIR was decided based on the combination of marks in JEE Mains and 12th. However, from this year onwards it will be decided only on the basis of JEE Mains. Hence, data of previous years is actually of no use now. Just wait for few weeks and 'college predictor' sites will come. You can check here then.

Hello Anuj,
It's quite tough to prepare for JEE Mains and at same time study on first year. In addition, many colleges simply refuse to give TC. You should have taken drop of year.
