The admission procedure for M.Sc. Microbiology programme at Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar consists of an entrance exam set by the university. In order to be eligible to apply, candidates must have done B.Sc. in microbiology or any other discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Haridwar University shortlists candidates for most of the programmes based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For BTech, the university accepts JEE Main score. Admission to M.Tech is based on GATE rank. The selection for PhD programme will be based on HURAT conducted by the university.
