Ambala College of engineering and applied research admission is entrance based for courses offered at UG and PG levels. Instead, it provides merit-based scholarships and financial year options. In addition to this, tuition fees would be waived of partially or completely for the students belonging to economically weaker sections first as well as those excellent in sports and extracurricular activities. The eligibility criteria and scholarship schemes are available. Special students who score very high on entrance examination or have good academic records may get a partial waiver in fees.

The facilities include hostel, cafeteria, central library, gymnasium, residence, conference hall/media centre, transportation, modern Science and tech labs, ATM, medical assistant, sports facility, Hi-Tech computing facilities. The hostel at Ace are designed with a capacity of 250 boys and 129 girls resident. Every floor has clean toilets with hot water facility in winters. The major companies where students have been placed include TCS Infosys, HP HCL Technologies Hitachi Consulting Software Services Private Limited. The highest package in BTT is 4.5 LPA.The highest package of CSE is 5.27 LPA The highest package of ECE is 3.60 LPA The highest package of ME is 3.60 LPA.

Yes, you can get admission to Ambala College of Engineering and applied research by B.Tech course without leet. You don't need to take the lateral entry entrance test to get admission to the Bachelor of technology course at Ambala College of engineering and applied research for 75% of the seats. The college relies more or less on performance in 10 + 2 and scores of JEE main during the admission process.
