Eligibility for M.Sc in Nutrition and Dietetics Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to ful-fill the following minimum eligibility criteria. Graduation or another such equivalent course in a relevant discipline, completed from a recognised university. Graduation needs to have been completed in any of: Home Science Nutrition or Dietetics Food Science Biology Microbiology Clinical Biochemistry Life Sciences BNYS (Naturopathy) B.A.M.S. Nutritionists or dieticians may build a career in the following sectors- R&D (Research and Development), Healthcare sector (hospitals, clinics, health centres etc. ), Government schemes and organizations, NGOs, Teaching and Education sector. National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad or Osmania University are the best colleges to pursue a degree in food and nutrition. Diverse job opportunities exist in front of nutritionists and dietitians in India. Both government and private sector job opportunities are available in front of them.

Hi Mihir,
The basic minimum eligibility for pursuing B.Sc in Nutrition and Dietetics is a X and XII qualification from a recognised educational Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects at the intermediate level, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. So, you can't apply for that. Thanks!

The fees range would be somewhere around rupees 1 lakh. I would request you to get in touch with the institute for better clarity.
In my opinion, I would suggest you to go for a PG program for an in-depth and complete knowledge of the subject.

Eligibility for B.Sc. In Nutrition and Dietetics
The basic minimum eligibility for pursuing B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is a X and XII qualification from a recognized educational Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects at the intermediate level, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
Some universities/ colleges also accept Botany/ Zoology/ Computer Science/ Biochemistry instead of Biology as one of the main subjects studied in class XII.
