(Pass) in Home Science / B.Sc (Hons.) in Food Technology: after (10+2)/ PGDDPHN (1 yr), from Delhi University or any other University whose Examination is recognized by the University of Delhi as equivalent and fulfill other conditions of eligibility. Should have passed Nutritional Biochemistry and any two subjects in the following areas or 24 credits in any of the following Home Science papers in the graduate programme one of which is Biochemistry: Food & Nutrition / Nutrition through the life cycle / Public Nutrition / Food Science and Processing / Diet therapy / Microbiol

DNHE is a Diploma course. To become a nutritionist you need to have a Bachelor degree and a post graduate degree. So, register yourself and be a nutritionist!

Nutritionists or dieticians may build a career in the following sectors- R&D (Research and Development), Healthcare sector (hospitals, clinics, health centres etc.), Government schemes and organizations, NGOs, Teaching and Education sector. To build a career in the R&D sector, qualifications like M.Phil. And Ph.D. will be of use. M.Sc. M.Phil. And Ph.D. qualifications will also enable one to take up the job post of a lecturer or instructor.

Eligibility Criteria-
B.Sc. Degree in Home Science, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science and Quality Control and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc.Nursing, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, BHMS, BAMS and any related subjects. The candidates should have completed the undergraduate programme with not less than 55% marks.

Mandatory Courses: B.Sc. (Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Physics, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology )
Candidate who have completed B.Sc. (Family and Community Sciences) with specialization in Nutrition are also eligible for admission.
Or
B.Sc. (Vocational) with specialization in Food Science and Quality control or Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics or Food Science and Technology or B.Tech. Food Science and Technology are also eligible for admission.
Final Selection
