The eligibility requirements for the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) course at Heritage Institute of Technology consist of several steps and procedures. To be eligible, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 education from a recognised board, and their age should not exceed 28–30 years. Every semester there will be 5-6 subjects and their labs. Each subject will carry some credit. Now, if one gets for example 85/100 in a subject then he gets 9 points in that subject. Suppose that subject had 3 credits then Credit points for that subject will be 9x3=27 points. This way all subjects points are calculated and then added. Let as suppose on adding all subjects one gets 200 points. And on adding all subject credits it comes around 22. Then dividing 200 by 22 will give you the CGPA and in this case it will be 9.09 CGPA. For 91-100 it is 10 points
for 81-90 it is 9 points
for 71-80 it is 8 points
for 61-70 it is 7 points
for 51-6

There is no problem if one misses the Internals only issue is that the marks of internals will not be added and the student has to solely pass from the semester Exams and also it will be difficult to score good marks in that subject. Other than that there is no issue. So, try not to miss the internals as they are the key to score good CGPA.

Internal Exams are important for SGPA but they are not deciding factors for pass or fail. So, if a student fails in internals he/she can still pass the semester by scoring good in semester Exams and also submitting the assignments in time. Overall, the student has to score 40% to pass so it includes Internals + Sem Exams + Attendance + Assignments. So, if one got 5 marks in internals he/she has to score 35 more from Semesters and assignments.
