Admission is through counseling based on the rank/ score obtained in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by University of Calcutta.

The admission to the BALLB course is done at HLC. A merit list was prepared on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by Calcutta University.

Well, the Heritage Law School is very newly established institute and has still time to build goodwill of any sort. The institute claims to have a placements cell but still as the first batch hasn't graduated yet, you can't speculate anything. Also, the prospects in terms of in house campus placements would need a time span of atleast 10-12 years.
The college may be good in terms of infrastructure, etc. but the placements are always based on quality of graduates produced. So, it is unlikely to predict as of now as already there are a no. of private institutes in law and not every college can get the firms recruiting.
