Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh BSc admission is merit-based. Hence, the selection is done on the basis of candidates performance in the last qualifying exam, i.e., Class 12 or equivalent exam. Apart from this, aspirant should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate with PCB.Students with a valid CUET score can also apply for admission. The applications are accepted in online and offline mode. After form submission, counselling and seat allotment is done.

There are a total of 60 seats for BSc programme at Chitkara University Solan. Aspirants are admitted in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake. Chitkara University Solan reserves 25% of seats for the bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, 15% of seats are also exclusively reserved for the candidates fo Punjab domicile. The seat allocation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Others categories is done as per the policy of the state government.

The eligibility criteria defines the minimum educational qualification required for selection. Candidate should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent qualification from a recognised board. Additionally, the qualifying exam should have been passed with at least 50% aggregate and studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12.As a proof of eligibility, students have to submit the mark sheet and pass certificates as well at the time of counselling.
