Solan is home to two universities: IEC University and MMU Solan - Maharishi Markandeshwar University. Some claim that while placement chances at both universities are mediocre, MMU has a stronger overall brand. Rankings: IEC University is placed 9th in Himachal Pradesh and 99th in India in the IIRF University Rankings 2022. IHM Shimla accepts NCHMCT JEE cutoff for admission to BSc programme. As per the IHM Shimla NCHMCT JEE cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration were 6399 and 10133, respectively, for the General All India category. regards MBA courses at Each college heres a quick briefat MMU solan you can get avg 14 Lpa at IEC solan the highest package is around 22 LPA (at greater noida campus ).MMU has a better brand overallplacements opportunities at both is just avg placements do take an edge over in MMUwhile the placements are variable in IEC

According to unofficial sources, Dalhousie University’s acceptance rate is around 60% - 70%. This means that the university is somewhat selective when it comes to admission. Dalhousie University itself specifies that admission to many undergraduate programs is competitive and meeting the minimum average does not guarantee admission. International applicants who want to take admission into the graduate courses of Dalhousie University are required to meet the minimum admission requirements, program-specific requirements (as applicable), and fulfill English language proficiency scores. Applicants who want to take admission into the master’s degree must have a four-year bachelor’s degree.
