3 internal exams, i.e. STs are conducted per semester so in order to avoid the backlog in that subject you must pass at least 2 of them. In Chitkara University you can fill the back paper and give exam in next semester.

The Best course you can pursue at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh campus is Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, i.e. BE CSE. There are many other courses which you can pursue but as per my experience these are the best courses.

Chitkara provides two Red & Black coloured shirts for summers and Black & Grey coloured hoodies for the winters. We have to wear them along with the jeans and Sports or Casual shoes. The dress code not so strict you just have to wear the given uniform.

College life seems pretty amazing in the First year as you're exploring the campus but after that it feels quite boring as we go through same schedule daily and the campus is small (area-wise). Even the events were organised rarely in the campus.

PGs available nearby campus were not that good in comparison to the Hostels in the campus as Hostels are pretty good along with the tasty Mess Food and good Laundary service. Students can choose if they want to take the college hostel or not.

The overall CGPA depends on multiple exams like - FA/IEC contribute 10%, Sessional Tests I. e. STs contribute 40% and the Final semester exams I. e. ETE contribute 50% in overall CGPA. You need to maintain your internal exam to have a good CGPA.

The strength at Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh Campus is mainly due to the CSE Students which is nearly 2500-3000 including 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. The campus has a good infrastructure and all the amenities.
