There is no fixed syllabus for JNU Entrance Exam. However, the questions asked in the entrance are usually from the last studied degree course. For example in entrance exam of M.A. In geography, the questions asked are of nature which a student who has studied geography in his graduation can answer easily. Similarly, for entrance in M.A. International relations, a student should have basic knowledge of political Science and good command of contemporary world politics. Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil Admission:
Master's degree in the relevant subject. Duration: One year
Selection: An all India Entrance Test will be conducted for selecting candidates for admission to the M.Phil. Degree. M.Phil. Thesis: Examinees will submit the M.Phil. Thesis before appearing in the university examination conducted in the university campus. Award: Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Degree with specialization in the relevant subject shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by the University.
