Mass media course at graduation level in Jamia Millia Islamia is in Hindi language. And, in post-graduation level it is in English language, so at graduation level you cannot change the language.

Sorry to say, but unfortunately you can't do B.Ed in the Hindi Language as a subject. For taking admission, you have to first complete BA in Hindi, then apply for B.Ed and you can do that through distance mode also no issue in that it is totally accepted everywhere.

The basic and most important reason behind English being preferred over Hindi is better employment opportunities with good communication skills (English). However, English is considered to be a global language in India that if you go abroad English is the only thing that you have to know.

JNU as an Institution is the most Democratic place in India. It allows you to write your answers in either languages (I. e Hindi and English). Some people might object that if it is that much democratic, why don't it allows to write Answers in all 22 languages mentioned in Schedule 8 of Indian constitution. The reason is that Evaluation process involves The faculty members of JNU only. Candidates who have passed graduation with Hindi as a mandatory subject. There is no age barrier for doing Masters in arts in any stream.
