Both, Hindu College and Hans Raj College are the top affiliated colleges of Delhi University. Candidates who have passed their class 12 in any stream from a recognised board are eligible to get admission in Hindu College BA (Hons) Political Science. The Hindu College shortlists candidates on the basis of CUET-UG scores. Interested candidates need to perform extremely well in the entrance exam to secure admission at Hindu College. In 2023, the cut off for Hindu College BA (Hons) Political Science was 99 percentile. To perform well in the CUET test, candidates must thoroughly go through the CUET syllabus. Aspirants need to strategise their plans on a monthly, weekly and daily basis. Candidates can prepare better by knowing which topics to cover in-depth and which require superficial knowledge. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Candidates belonging to NIOS/APOSS/Other Examinations recognised as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in April/ May-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply.
There is no age restriction.B.E. / B.TechCandidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible.
Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis.
Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023).
There is no upper age limit.
