Nothing happens, if you have some medical reasons then you can submit the Medical report. But then you have to score well in the semester examination so that you will get good marks and won't fail. If someone fails in end semester exams then they will have to reappear, next year. So try to give internal exams, and do not miss them as it helps to score and have a good aggregate of marks which will ultimately increase your CGPA. These internal exams, therefore, play an important role in securing admission.

CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average. Generally in college after the examination of each semester you will get an online marksheet, on that marksheet each subject has some credit points. After each semester you will get an SGPA written on your marksheet. So by taking weight average of all the grades (SGPA) obtained by the student in all the semesters / years of academic programme. Then you will get CGPA and multiplying CGPA with 9.5 will give equivalent percentage. E. g. Step 1: In First year-7.5, second year-8.0, third year-7.54
Average = (7.5+8.0+7.54)/3= 7.68 = CGPA
Step 2 : 7.68*9.5 = 72.96%. .
