Placements:
The college has a very active placement cell called Odisha. Several leading companies like Amazon, Flipkart visit the campus for placements every year. The college also has a very active internship cell called Odisha. Placements are mostly provided to students from commerce and economics stream, but humanities students often get golden opportunities for internships. The college also hosts an internship fair every year where everyone who applies gets an internship. Many of my seniors worked as interns with leading newspapers such as The Hindustan Times and The Hindu.
The placement for the past few years has been quite good. The placement cell works efficiently to conduct placement drives in the college. The average package offered in our college was 4-5LPA with almost all the students sitting in the placement getting placed.
The placement cell provides the students with a lot of great job opportunities in the fields like finance, investment banking, accounting, consultancy, research, marketing, and human resources, etc. The main recruiters of our college are Ernst & Young, Deloitte, Accenture, LEK Consulting, Brain Capability Centre, and BCG, etc. The average salary package offered is around 8 LPA. The highest package is more than 30 LPA. The college also provides the students with a lot of paid and unpaid internships.
