For B.Sc, Hindustan College of Arts and Science is better than Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research. For some programmes, the Hindustan College has a strong placement history with reputable businesses. In general, HICAS tuition is a little bit more than BIHER tuition. Greater class sizes in some HICAS programmes may have an effect on the amount of one-on-one time spent with students.Depending on your unique interests, BIHER may offer a narrower number of BSc programmes than HICAS. A candidate should fulfill the criteria set by the college for being elgible for admission in the college. Once the candidate is elgible the student can go the official website of the college to check for the cutoff list of the college for different branches that they want to pursue in the college. The cutoff for the different courses changes every year and the list is released on the officail website for the candidates to check if they are eligible or not.  Candidates should visit the official website regularly to check for the cutoff provided by the college.

For admission to Hindustan College of Arts and Science, applicants should pass Class 12 with PCM as the Main Subjects or a High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India or any of the equivalent exams conducted by any State Board. The applicants should have secured a minimum 45% aggregate with English as a mandatory subject of the course. A relaxation of 5% of the minimum aggregate is allowed for the SC/ST candidates.
