Yes, you can do an AME course after completing your aeronautical engineering because of the eligibility criteria for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering you need to pass your 10+2 class with PCM subject. So, if you think that you want to join the AME course then there is the best option for getting admission in AME through the AME CET, first of all, you need to fill the AME CET form on their website www.amecet.in and get admission in best AME institutes on the basis your entrance exam rank.

Branch wise speaking, there will be more scope of placements in computer science branch as compared to aeronautical engineering, Also, there will be more of theoretical aspects covered in B.E branch as compared to B.Tech branch, so if you want to be job oriented, you have to opt for B.Tech branch, for the simple reason being more scope of placement. However, if research means a lot to you, you must definitely go for B.E in aeronautical engineering branch and then opt for further study in a good university.

I would suggest you go ahead with SRM rather than Hindustan. reason:
SRM has better ranking and infrastructure
Better Professors
Better Placements than Hindustan.
So, I would suggest you go ahead with SRM.
