A B.Tech course is available in structural engineering (lateral entry) which has a duration of three years but it is not part-time rather a full-time course.

Candidates successfully completing 10+2 or equivalent education in Science stream can apply for this course. B.Tech in Robotic Engineering is an interdisciplinary course. Hello Tanmoy, Yes, a student of mechanical engineering at undergraduate level can surely think of doing PG in aeronautical engineering. Of course the student can not select "avionics" as specialisation. However, any sub-branch of aeronautical engineering related to mechanical engineering can be selected if the student selects appropriate paper of GATE.

These days almost all govt or govt owned organisations use GATE score for screening students whom they want to employ. Some court rulings also has made it impossible for such institutions to take part in placements process. However, you can apply directly based on advertisement on the website.
