Admission to BTech engineering programme is granted on the base of marks in the qualifying examination followed by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions( TNEA).The minimal eligibility for admission to BE/BTech is a pass in 10 plus 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology( HICET), Chennai was established in 2000. It's an independent council. No, there is no such facility for direct admission merely on the basis of TNEA rank in  Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology . The student will have to go through the other rounds as well followed by TNEA exam. You might be able to get through the counselling phase. If your score is excellent among the others. The cut off in Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology is approximately 39k or above so your admission chances are indeed high, but you'll have to go through all the stages.

In order to get admitted in Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology,   the student needs to fill out the registration forms for TNEA and pass it as it's the sole entrance examination through which HICET admits it's students.These are the subject necessary for a  student to have in class 12th like maths, physics and chemistry along with and aggregate score of 50%.  After clearing the TNEA , the student will take part in counselling session along with others and will be interviewed personally.

Unfortunately, for the session for 2023- 2024,  the forms were already out on May 5th and were closed on June 04th 2023. These were the dates for TNEA registration form which is the entrance examination form compulsory for all the students to fill and pass in order to get admissions in Hindustan college of engineering and technology. The counselling session for Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology 2023-2203 session has already taken place from Aug 07 to Sep 24 th 2023. Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology BE/BTech admission for the new session will open soon.

No Its not possible to get into Hindusthan college without TNEA. Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology does not have any such provison in which the students can get admission without going through entrance test of TNEA. One needs to attempt TNEA if he/she aims to take admission in Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology's B.Tech course. But, yes for other courses like MBA/PGDM its TANCET MBA which is required. Also, for MCA its graduation with 50 percent along with TANCET which is mandatory.

To be eligible for B.Tech at Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology, the following criteira is mandate.  One must be of Science background and must have physics, maths and chemistry in their 11th and 12th. Along with the specification in stream, the students must also have an aggregate percentage of 50% minimum or above in their 12th boards. After having the above mentioned scores and specifications, the student is eligible to take up the entrance test for the course of B.Tech.

Yes, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology accepts national level entrance test. HITSEEE and HITSCAT  are the two of its own test conducted for all the UG and PG courses in Hindusthan College.  The B.Tech test takes place in two phases. Generally student's aptitude is checked through such entrance test. After clearing the test there's a GD and personal interview of the students who have successfully cleared it.
