Hello Kavita,
Both these subjects are good choices for doing PG. However from the perspective of landing a job, I think economics will beat history. This is so since it has many applications and tremendous opportunities are available in different fields to experts in this field. Be it personal finance, be it companies, as advisory, etc. while history has limited scope of teaching or few government jobs. Hence I would like to advise you that you should take economics.

It will be beneficial for you to appear in NET Exam with sociology as you mastered in this subject. But, If you want then History subject can also be taken to appear in this exam.
