Yes, there are some best universities for BA history other than Delhi University like Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University, St. Xavier's College, Jamia Millia Islamia. They all are best for BA history or BA History (Honours).

No, there is no requirement for a maths student to choose political Science or history as their major in order to gain entry into the history Hons list. To be eligible for the list, one must complete an Honors degree in history and meet the necessary grade requirements.
