Hello Nibedita Biswas, for doing Ph.D. one needs to pass entrance exam or screening exam for Ph.D. prescribed by concerned University. Your marks at UG or PG level do not matter much. Some universities allow M.Phil candidates to take up Ph.D. without any entrance exam. You just need to seek advise from registrar of your intended university. Best wishes to you.

You can explore about law courses after 12th but some law colleges do not allow NIOS certification. You can explore about -
- vocational courses from good colleges
- hotel management courses
- journalism courses
- language courses like B.A. In English Spanish, etc. - You can enroll for any B.A. Course and prepare for government. Exam

Hey Ankit to be an IAS officer you must appear for upsc cse . This only require graduation in any discipline. So you are eligible after BA only but if you want to study more then it is better to pursue MA in your optional subject.

Hello Jyoti, Final admission selection to Ph.D. will be based on performance on the entrance test (70% weight) and Interview (30% weight) subject to obtaining low marks in the Interview. Admission to the Ph.D. History course is based on an entrance exam followed by an interview conducted by various Universities.
