JNU does not offer M.Com programme. But you can pursue MA economics
CITD MA. A new and unique Master's programme (M.A. ) in Economics was introduced by the department in 1995/96. The programme provides sound theoretical background in the principles of economics and equips students with analytical tools and techniques for understanding the evolution of the world economy.

Each university has their own set of admission requirements. These requirements are mentioned in the programme brochure. For eg Harvard mentions as follows

The answer of this question depends on your interest as both are different fields. If you are interested in politics of India and world then go for B.A. Political Science and if you interested in history, archeology then choose History.
