Hello Pranav, counseling of heritage generally closes on 7000 for all the branches. And if you're talking about of taling cse then you have to be under the GMR of 3000 or less than that.

Hi Nishant,
I think you should go for Heritage Institute of technology other than Haldia because of following reasons:-
1.The college will get you a lot of interviews from various companies on campus but cracking it and getting placed is your job.
2.The quality of education is far better than any WBUT college & the faculty is highly dedicated and qualified.
3.The updated autonomy syllabus is on par with WBUT M.Tech.
4.Subjects like design and analysis of algorithm is something special you will find only at the MCA course in Heritage no other normal MCA colleges provide it.

If your college is NAAC accredited, then it's fine. It's excellent when there's an accreditation as it adds extra values to your profile.

I'm sorry to say but its placement is in a very poor condition. People in the electrical department didn't get placed well this year. Only a few got placed.

I would refer you Haldia for mechanical because it has industrial exposure for core engineering departments whereas Techno does not provide such facilities.
