Yes, you have a chance. Our students are placed at a package with more than that. The highest package this year was 24 lakhs.

If you are a hardworking guy and want a good campus like NIT and just for few marks you missed it then you can join HIT. You will get good faculty as well as facilities here.

In Haldia institute of technology the opening for food technology branch is around 9000 and generally is closes around 23000. Vacant seat always remain there in this branch. For admission in vacant seat contact college.

I terms of campus placements, HIT will offer you a number of opportunities to get into. Companies like Goldman Sachs are visiting our campus. So if you are capable enough and build yourself according to those big MNCs. You will easily get a good job at a very good package. Now coming to your question, the overall placement of HIT is very good. The placement rate is almost 100% in the IT sector as well as in the Core sector. Students prefer higher studies or Masters.

You will get excellent faculty members over here. They are too supportive and qualified. You will get exposure to all kind of external facilities and chances for higher studies.

About NMIT, placement wing:
Again, if you are in CS IS or ECE branch, then be sure that you will get placed as these have 100% placement, and sorry if you are from other branch, you will have to struggle a lot. The average package is about INR 4 Lacs to INR 5 Lacs and the maximum package received by any student is INR 18 Lacs,which was provided by Subex. Some of the good companies which come are Microsoft. 4/10
