You have the option of securing direct admission in Haldia Institute of Technology. This can be accomplished through the management quota, which reserves some seats for this purpose. However, it's essential to be prepared to pay a substantial amount of money as admission through the management quota requires additional fees.For the regular courses, the following are the fees and eligibility criteria:- B.Tech: 1.18 Lakhs (1st Year Fees), 10+2 with 45% + WBJEE- MBA: 1.24 Lakhs (1st Year Fees), Graduation with 50% + MAT- M.C.A: 1.2 Lakhs (1st Year Fees), Graduation with 50% + WB JECA- M.Tech: 1.08 Lakhs (1st Year Fees), Pass in Graduation + WBUT PGETIf your WBJEE rank is not as expected and you still wish to secure admission, you have the option of management quota admission or direct admission. However, it's important to note that in addition to the regular fees, there will be a donation or extra fees required for this type of admission. So your fees would include Donation + The regular course fee. 

If your sole interest is employment, then allow me to shed some light on the placement of HIT's 2022 pass-out batch of chemical engineering students:Out of 67 students, 57 were hired by various businesses that I will name later.Considering IT companies Chemical engineers are frequently hired by different IT firms like WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, etc.Additionally, we are hired by sales organizations like BERGER and AMAZON. In addition to this, some students were hired by Santa Biotech, Omics, Ericson, and other companies. If you look at this year's placements, you can see that there are many opportunities in HIT, particularly in the chemical engineering branch, if you want to get hired.But it solely depends upon your capability and knowledge when it comes to placement. So according to me if you are getting a chance to study chemical engineering in HIT then you should prefer it rather than studying another branch of engineering in other private colleges.
